You should setup and configure zones in FirewallD (Fedora’s default iptables front-end). FirewallD lets you abstract rules in easy to use commands nstead of managing raw iptables rules.

In a simplified explanation, a zone is a set of port rules that are applied to either a network interface or a IP range. You’d have e.g. a trusted home network accepting DHCP, mDNS, and other things you expect on your home network; and a separate public zone for things you want to be publicly accessible.

You can find instructions on the wiki page of FirewallD.

Think this may work

firewall-cmd --zone=drop --add-source=x.x.x.x/xx
