Laptop Model: Dell Inspiron 7559

Kernel: 4.16.5-300

So, I upgraded to F28 today. Big mistake that was. I've always had problems with the NVidia Optimus crap on this laptop, which I fix by turning off the NVidia chip via bbswitch/bumblebee, but I've never had this problem before.

My WiFi, Bluetooth, and Sound are all not working after the upgrade. I can get all of these working on the previous kernel, but not on the latest. Problem is that bumblebee is installed for the latest kernel, so if I boot into the old kernel the laptop freezes due to the stupid NVidia GPU. So my choices are boot in with WiFi, Bluetooth, and Sound or boot into the old kernel and have the laptop freeze in 30 seconds from a kernel panic.

I have the following WiFi/Bluetooth chip:

Intel Corporation Wireless 3165 (rev 79)

My understanding is that its loaded by iwlwifi-7265.ucode from /lib/firmware, but its not loading. I did a lshw -C network and get this:

*-network UNCLAIMED description: Network controller product: Wireless 3165 vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:05:00.0 version: 79 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: busmaster caplist configuration: latency=0 resources: memory:df200000-df201fff

I have no idea where to even start with the sound issues.

Hoping one of you can give me some direction, because I'm at wits end.
