Touchpad scrolling and more stopped working since last kernel update

My touchpad is working well using the following kernel 4.14.14-300.fc27 and before:

Bus 001 Device 007: ID 413c:8162 Dell Computer Corp. Integrated Touchpad [Synaptics]

I can set up everything using the corresponding menu in GNOME Settings:

Menu in GNOME Settings

After yesterday update, the previous menu doesn't show anymore and some important features like scrolling are missing. It happens after booting on latest kernel version: 4.16.7-200.fc27.

Anything I could do to narrow down my issue?
