STEP 1: connect to wifi, check whether you are not barred to access internet by your ISP provider and check whether other device or computer can access the internet using the same wifi if not follow next, now follow the steps to narrow the issue

STEP 2: run command ifconfig / iwconfig and traceroute

STEP 3: ensure the nameserver , ping , ping -6 2606:4700:4700::1111 ( ping -6 is not required if you are using IPv4 only network )

STEP 4: run command route -n , and check cat /etc/resolv.conf than run systemd-resolve --status and than check the DNS SERVER section

STEP 5: if you can not open any website or access internet using the browser than goto web browser , check your proxy settings ( if proxy enabled set it properly otherwise no proxy or system proxy and in DHCP section set IP address automatic and DNS addresses to any available public dns cache server IP ( e.g , etc if you need details of DNS for public internet open website )

STEP 6: If you are using any router for the wifi connection or threading NDIS mechanism than check the settings in router or mobile device security section , it may be blocked there somehow MAC filter or Your wifi router need to be configured properly etc

STEP 7: Ask yourself if you have done any experiment using system wide configuration or not ( like changing any network or system configuration e.g. sysctl ( sysctl used for MITM , spoof attack protection and network , ipv6 and so on related configuration etc etc )

Post your result and messages after running those commands and steps along with type of wifi device you have , configuration of your router to avail the public internet access ( some wifi router uses APN and some uses ALWAYS ON through user/pass supply mechanism )

example : in my case i do use portable wifi router which based on APN connection access CLICK HERE

Please note : Check your wifi device configuration section of DNS address and security section for MAC filter etc
