Screen sharing is not yet implemented for Gnome/Wayland. If you are using the default GNOME desktop, you need to logout. On the login screen, press the gears icon and select "GNOME on Xorg" and log in. It should work fine then.

If this is not answering your question, please give more details on the screen sharing software you are using.

Jan Grulich ( * * ) and other developers at Red Hat Wayland screen-sharing is working both for GNOME Shell and KDE Plasma. While progress is being made and they had successful test connections with both GNOME and KDE on Wayland, there are currently some WebRTC differences between Chrome and Firefox along with other technical hurdles being overcome.

More details can be found via Grulich's blog. There is also the firefox-webrtc-wayland Copr for Fedora users to try out the specially built Firefox with WebRTC that supports screen sharing on Wayland.

Now you need to mention about your full details how and using what you are trying to share screen ( i.e. apps like skype , tv , anydesk etc etc )
