I am using Fedora 28. My laptop has built-in fingerprint reader. How can I get the ability to log in using fingerprint? Packages fprintd-pam, fprintd and libfprint are already installed.

verify that your finger print reader device is supported by your kernel , if not get module to support the device . fprintd-pam, fprintd and libfprint these are packages shipped with fedora for finger print reader , check them either installed or not installed . You may reqiured to install GDM related some additional packages meanwhile

Now go to Settings | Details | Users to open the user configuration ..

Can You see this :--->

Thank you for your answer. Packages you listed are already installed. But there is no option "Fingerprint Login" in Settings. After "Automatic Login" I have "Last Login".
