I have used fedora since red hat split it off. All that time I have been able to use JPilot to sync a Palm Pilot TX. Recently I had to reload F26 from scratch because of a crashed disk.. Now when I plug the palm tx into the USB cable I get the following from dmesg usb 1-2-port2: unable to enumerate USB device

[ 5172.266456] usb 1-2.2: new full-speed USB device number 48 using ehci-pci
[ 5172.343451] usb 1-2.2: device descriptor read/64, error -32
[ 5172.523452] usb 1-2.2: device descriptor read/64, error -32
[ 5172.706456] usb 1-2.2: new full-speed USB device number 49 using ehci-pci
[ 5172.783445] usb 1-2.2: device descriptor read/64, error -32

I have done every thing that I can find to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank Bob Laughlin

If you are on a laptop? disconnect it from power for about 5 minutes (while running) then reconnect the power and try again.

If you are on a desktop, replace your usb cable and/or try a different port.
