Fedora is rock solid distribution and the idea of this forum is, that everyone is allowed to ask questions and to get high quality answers. I watch the content of the questions now carefully for some weeks. Is this forum an outsourced hardware support for cheap and clunky Asian notebooks or an expert forum for virtualisation? It's very unfair, that newbies get links for reading wikis, manuals etc., which the could not understand in the absence of sound knowledge of linux. I know what I say: I'am an experienced mainframer (IBM System Z) and nobody tries here to explain a high sophisticated and very complex system like System Z with wikis, manuals and dodgy forums, especially newbies. Virtualisation is ridiculous outside a powerful Server environment, virtualisation on notebooks is a joke for YouTube.

This is an appeal for more respect against normal user in this forum and to honour Fedora via the forum with understandable answers for questions to help each other. Some contributors should not believe that they are the masters of the universe and other people are fools. Freedom is to help each other to solve a problem. That is the deepest sense of free software and Linux.

Yes, I agree. We need to remember to be kind to new users. I honestly believe that one of the biggest community negatives that work against wider adoption of user-level Linux is the frequently encountered tendency to bury a new user in raw information and think of that as "help."

You haven't heard of Qubes OS or any compatibility issues with software on Linux, have you?

Outside a commercial and professional environment is virtualisation on a laptop a joke for YouTuber, distro hoppers and click junkies.

I miss exactly the kind of respect you call for in your own post. Most (if not all) notebooks are produced in Asia by the way. And I also don't see many hardware questions here, if you exclude GPU drivers at least.
