Hi all! I'm trying to find a solution to a firmware crash with atheros firmware.

I've googled a lot about this chipset QCA9377 and it seems that it could be a broken hardware or a firmware bug. Randomly, the firmware is crashing and based on other searches, it seems that is happening when the wifi changes the frequency. This is the last log:

what is the exact chip ??? run hwinfo --wlan . , You may try to use a newer firmware from upstream replace to Firmware 6 API instead of Firmware 5 API ( there is been Many devices in ath10khwparams_list have the wrong value setand which causing Firmware crash ) OR you can get kernel patch ( screenshot below ) :

@nisankh I've used the same repo to update the firmware. I don't remember if I've used firmware 6. My current sha256sum is: 95ed94c24795c31dbdf8c97ab7278dd3a107673ea7330dfe4d01b1c65965f7a8 /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-5.bin. Not sure how should I replace this file with version 6, can you please advise me how should I do it?
