When you're doing research, what software do you use to take notes?

I've used a wiki, Hatta, and have done some mind mapping, but these tools run into issues at some point, so I'm curious what others use.

Simply notes? I use Notes Up.

If you search flathub.org, you can find a few more: https://flathub.org/apps/search/notes. One of which is Bijiben, or now simply called Notes. Another, similar app is gnote from official repositories (sudo dnf install gnote.

If you look for mind-mapping tools: Use can XMind. (I used it years ago and it did the job.) There is also a FOSS mind-mapping tool: FreeMind.
