Shortcomings of Fedora 29 when running scilab 6.0.1

How come Scilab runs wonderfully in Ubuntu 18.04 yet in Fedora 29 the image processing toolboxes aren't installing correctly i.e. they don't work - something to do with open cv part, perhaps? Here's the error mesage: ------------------------------------------------------

link: The shared archive was not loaded: libopencv_world.so: cannot open share d object file: No such file or directory
