"Un-sandbox" applications on Fedora 29?

So, here's my issue. I'm having this happen for a few applications.

It seems like everything I run is sandboxed from everything else. While that wouldn't normally be an issue, it ends up limiting two programs, one more severely than the other. Discord and Steam,

With Discord, it prevents it from detecting any games being run on my system, instead only showing brwap as the other program detected.

Looking into bubblewrap online, I found basically nothing to help me. With Steam, it causes a bigger issue. My setup involves Fedora being installed on a 250gig SSD, and a 2TB HDD for general storage, which is where I would like my games to be. Only problem is that Steam can't detect my mount point for the hdd ~/WD. Is there a way to fix this? I took a guess at it being bwrap, but nothing I can find online helps me.

Fedora uses selinux by default, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SELinu...

Third party apps , especially wine and games, often have issues.

You will have to debug selinux, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SELinu...

If there is a simple fix, such as a boolean, it is not too bad, but it can be complex. We would need a lot more information to guide you with specifics.

A possible work around is to temporarily set selinux into permissive mode

sudo setenforce 0

Play your game(s) then when you are done enable it again

sudo setenforce 1
