I have build 2 PC's recently: I have build 2 PC's recently:

  • AMD R2200G APU with 16GB RAM
  • and my workstation R2700X + RX580 + 16GB ram.

I have the same setup on both PC's with Fedora 29 XFCE. The R2200G setup no issues. But with teh R2700X machine the sound is good, but after some time I hear a click (when Iḿ doing something else) and then al sound is distorted/scrumbled.

I can't figure it out myself. If I logout and login again, sound is working o.k. for some time.

Any idea what can cause this issue?

What I did after long search:

sudo nano /etc/pulse/default.pa

#added tsched=0 at the end of the line.
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0

No more issues since than (3 days)
