Hi everyone, I am new to linux and having trouble with audio. I tried restarting the pulseaudio process but in vain. I also tried deleting the pulse config file but that didn't solve the problem. Even checked the volume level on alsamixer as well and it seemed fine. It was working fine previously on the same kernel but suddenly has stopped working everywhere. The pulseaudio GUI has my speakers selected and audio analog duplex as my output device.

I restarted my laptop a lot, booted to windows as well, reinstalled pulseaudio but nothing worked. Then my laptop battery died, I plugged in the power and switched it on again. Violla, the audio is back. Can anyone explain this strange behavior?.
