Use synlcient. Launch Terminal/Konsole/(Whatever you use) and go root. Then type in:

synclient

It will give you a list of options. Scroll down and you'll see these: image description

VertScrollDelta and HorizScrollDelta control the speed of the Vertical and Horizontal scrolling, respectively. Tamper around with them to get the setting you want.

Thanks, it is EdgeMotionMinSpeed what I am really talking about. It needs to be set to a really large number to see the effect.

So the bad news is that it can't:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/124440

The bug has been flagged as a feature request. There are links in the AskUbuntu and Mint forums as well so this Gnome wide and not an issue limited to Fedora.

My question has nothing to do with mouse, edge scroll is that when you drag something with the pointer and you move you finger to the edge of the touchpad in order to continue the movement without holding back your finger.

I don't see a setting for the edge scroll speed. You maybe able to do it via Xorg.conf but I'm not sure about this. I'd recommend filing a bug/RFE at the gnome bugtracker
