Plug in a mouse. And try running

yum update -y

in terminal to see if there are drivers you need to update. If that doesnt work search for the synaptics driver.

There are several to choose from, you can see them Here. Or by running the following

yum search synaptics

and then running the yum install command with the package name youve chosen like so

yum install package_name

Let me know if that helps in any way. After googling the issue there was some other talk of mousepads not working properly. Just remember if it is a bug with fedora or a package there is always the option of just using a mouse until the issue is fixed.

Great. Works fine for me. Problem was fixed by installing package kcm_touchpad (it was found by yum search synaptics command.
