Hi, having trouble getting wireless to work after installing Fedora 18 Xfce. Tried installing kmod-lw but still no luck. Not sure where to go next... If you need more info about my system you'll need to tell me commands, I'm new to Linux! Below is one I know:

Thanks FranciscoD.

One thing struck me, my router SSID is picked up in fedora so it must be at least talking to it.

Any attempt to ping anywhere results in network not found.

Router defo connected to Internet as other devices work.

I have a BCM4313 which is now supported by the linux kernel. I'm not sure about 4311 though. You should do 2 things:

  1. Try the kmod-wl package from rpmfusion
  2. File a bug against the kernel with the subject BCM4311 for your Fedora version.

I'm using 3.9.2-301.fc19.x86_64
