I am trying F19-Alpha. I know something may be rough. But this is a puzzle for me. Gnome Shell offers a status bar in the bottom. For me this provides a way to unmount usb drives, but also see the status of dropbox. Other things less common like bugs alerts.

It is gone, no able to activate in the corner like F15, F16, F17, F18 or the annoying placing of the mouse on the bottom edge.

It is a bug or another "feature" of gnome shell moving things around with no telling, so you can play hide and seek ??

In Fedora 19, the message tray is pressure sensitive to avoid triggering it accidentally just by hovering and you can also use the system (windows) key + m to toggle it.

Well, I did not try the fedora key (I have a sticker) but I did try going to the upper left corner . It supposed to do the same, isn't it?

You were asking about the bottom status bar in the question and now you seem to be asking about the hot corner in the top? That's accessible by pressing just the system key once or throwing your cursor to the top left corner.

I have been using gnome shell since it was introduced to fedora.. Hot corner showed status bar in the corner. Any way... Today I was watching movies connected lcd tv and fliping betwenn resolution and mirror displays... it showed briefly the bottom status bar. So I guess it is something weird with my laptop and not about gnome shell.

With the live media in other PC this system key + M works, it is a nice trick that I was not aware.

I have confirmed that it is a error from my laptop. I just used a live media to boot a PC and there is the bottom bar. I will wait to Beta and GA before posting a bug if this symptom persist.

Thanks for all the input
