I updated my Fedora19 from kernel 3.9.9.-302.fc19.x86_64 to the new kernel 3.10.3. Now the boot hangs at the message "A start job is running for NetworkManager wait online" .

I am still able to log in with the old 3.9.9-302 kernel. Any body else facing this problem.

FIXED/SOLVED by an update of the akmod package. Now I can log with all the kernels without remove nvidia drivers.

Another problem. I tried to fix the problem that is mentioned above. so I tried the solutions mentioned here: (ask.fedoraproject.org/question/9072/f16-how-to-disable-plymouth/). I edited the /etc/default/grub and removed the "rhgb" part. Now I can't log in even through the old 3.9.9-302 kernel. It seems that x-server does not working though all my kernels. I can only work in text-mode. I tried to start x-server manually with "startx" but it returns error. I tried to put back the removed part in /etc/default/grub. now the plymouth starts but x-server still does not work. Kindly help me!!!

thank you so much.

I found it. It was all about nvidia drivers. I tried to remove nvidia drivers with this command: yum remove xorg-x11-drv-nvidia* nvidia-settings nvidia-xconfig

now I can log-in with all my kernels.

Thnx @vorlagen for the final update. i had also decided to wait for an update of nvidia rather than removing it in lieu of 3.10.
