Is the latest stable kernel for Fedora 19 3.10.5? I have 3.10.4. If so, how can I upgrade to it without having to re-install Fedora 19? Would this stop my system from booting into emergency mode all the time? I first got errors regarding my radeon video drivers. Then errors went away. I have switchable graphics. Does this new kernel address the hardware issues in Fedora 19?

The latest available version is 3.10.5 today (August 9 2013):

[asinha@localhost images]$ bodhi -L kernel
       f18-updates-testing kernel-3.10.4-100.fc18
               f18-updates kernel-3.9.11-200.fc18
     f18-updates-candidate kernel-3.10.5-101.fc18
       f19-updates-testing kernel-3.10.4-300.fc19
     f19-updates-candidate kernel-3.10.5-200.fc19
               f19-updates kernel-3.10.5-201.fc19

You can just use yum or the package manager to update your system:

sudo yum update

There isn't a way of confirming what errors it fixes without testing it or reading the upstream changelog at

You can use the Fedora Packages app to check for the latest version of the kernel and other packages.
