I decided to follow the steps off the blog post at linuxadvocates: /2013/04/turbo-charge-yum-with-fastest-mirror.html

Where my output from running a yum related task is:

Loaded plugins: axelget, fastestmirror, langpacks, refresh-packagekit

Of specific interest is that I noticed that everyone else that I see online also has presto listed.

Instead I get a terminal full of

(Failed to load module presto: No module named presto)

after every command.

So, Where is presto? I thought presto was apart of yum now?

presto plugin added deltarpm support to yum. With this plugin, one can download the deltarpms instead of the new rpm for packages and rebuild the packages using the deltarpms.

And yes, I believe you are right about presto being part of yum.

axelget - it appears to be a plugin for accelerating downloads when using yum. http://code.google.com/p/yum-axelget/
