I have installed fedora 20 Alpha and enabled rpmfusion rawhide repos, both free and nonfree. But when ever i try to play a mp3 in rhythmbox is says missing codec after search for a codec. i tried manually installing the gstreamer bad, ugly packages as well, but it didn't solved issue. Is there any other repo that i need to enable ?

Well there is problem with that as i can see now, the bad and ugly versions are installed from both gstreamer and gstreamer1. I have gstreamer as a dependency to Skype and some other programs.

Hi: Since Fedora 18 the codecs for Totem and Rhythmbox are the gstreamer1-* instead of gstreamer-*. Once enabled rpmfusion-free and rpmfusion-nonfree it should be pretty natural to get it working.

Kind regards

I already have the rpmfusion repos enabled and only gstreamer1 plugins installed, Still it doesn't work, Rhythembox says fails to find the codec. Gnome-Music doesn't work as well.

Ok i got it fixed, just removed all the ugly plugins from gstreamer and gstreamer1 and just let the rhythembox to pick the one which it needs, which is gstreamer1-plugins-ugly.
