How to permanently set dnsdomainname in Fedora 18

Hi Expert,

I would like to set the dnsdomainname for Fedora 18, may I know what should I do?

hostenamectl will set a machine's hostname locally - but if you want the name you set to be resolveable, you'll need to set it on a DNS server. Are you trying to make eg. whock37.example.com globally resolveable?

You can set this value with the system-config-network tool - look for the 'DNS Search Path' field.

Normally it's provided by your DHCP service, but some aren't configured to hand it out.
