Hi,

I have switched a bit earlier to Fedora 20 since I really wanted to have the latest GNOME 3.10 release ;-)

I have spotted two issues with some applications that were working fine in Fedora 19. In order to use the OwnCloud sync client (mirall) or to browse a windows network with Nautilus, I need to desactivate the firewall... (I haven't found yet which ports to open in the firewall)

Should I report it or these kinds of problems are treated later in the development cycle?

Edit : the OwnCloud sync issue is solved with this morning update.

This is the kind of stuff they need to get fixed before F20 hits beta. You should try to report any problems you encounter (it is, after all, the purpose of the public alpha and beta phases).

I'd be quite surprised if this issue wasn't already known about, though. If you can't talk to a windows share with Nautilus there is a fundamental problem with the firewall.

As always when reporting issues, check that the issue isn't already reported before you create a new report.

Thank you for you answer, as I'm just an end user, I always wonder if I must report an issue. Do you know which component I should select to report the problem? firewalld (I would go for this one), nautilus, gvfs, or something else?

I have reported the issue on bugzilla (bug 1023918), I hope that it will help.
