how can i download youtube videos [closed]

Downloading videos from Youtube that other people have uploaded, is not allowed. It's forbidden by the terms of service. Therefore, it's considered as an illegal action.


i am firstly using fedora 19 i am not so friendly with this operating system Please give me some useful command that make friendly with fedora..............:)

You could use a Firefox extension, there are plenty of them available for install from the Add-ons Manager:

Otherwise, many websites offer this kind of service, try a web search.

I use the Firefox add-on DownloadHelper to download Youtube video's. This can be done by using the Add-ons Manager in Firefox. To use it do the following.

Right click somewhere on the page, choose DownloadHelper, Media and select the movie file.

you can use youtube-dl for youtube downloader from terminal

#yum install youtube-dl
