I'm trying to install wireless drivers but can't understand the problem. I first updated my system and then did upgrade.

Here is my network controller:

$ lspci | grep 'Broadcom'
04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01)

Then I followed the steps from this link

This is the error when i did it:

warning: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.32RhEQ: Header V3 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID 172ff33d: NOKEY
error: Failed dependencies:
    system-release >= 19 is needed by rpmfusion-free-release-19-1.noarch

So I also went to the "retrieving site url" downloaded it and tried to install it but it still gives me dependencies error.

Then I entered this sudo yum install kmod-wl (cause I knew it) which did get installed but still I cannot have any wireless listings.

I cannot get what the problem is? Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Please do explain what exactly is done by me and what to do now.

I might have the same Wireless controller as you:

# lspci -nn | grep Wireless
12:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn
Wireless Network Adapter [14e4:4727] (rev 01)

On Fedora 19 and Fedora 20, it is working out of the box with the brcmsmac driver. You don't need to install anything else (you shouldn't need to install the proprietary driver from Broadcom you can find on the rpmfusion repository).

Could you type the command lspci -nn | grep Wireless and give us the result?

So we have the same wireless controller. What is your Fedora version? What is your kernel version?

Seems like a DNS issue. You should edit the file /etc/resolv.conf with the command line sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf and change the DNS name servers (or add new ones). Usually it depends of your internet provider, but you can also use OpenDNS for example (I'm not sure of anything though).

The best would be to edit your question (or ask a new one since this is a different issue) and add the content of /etc/resolv.conf so someone can help you.
