Hi, I have got a question regarding mirrorlists with yum. I wonder if all Fedora mirrors are in sync, or if there are mirrors that contain newer packages than others? If so, would it be better to specify a baseurl instead?

Fedora mirrors typically sync with the main server after a short delay. I believe largest delays typically happen only during the new releases and not during other times.

I would recommend using the mirrorlist instead of baseurl for one simple reason - it is better not to overload the server. Also, if you have the mirror list enabled, yum will automatically check other mirrors, if a specific mirror is down for some reason - without needing user input.
