Hi everyone!

I use Fedora-20/Gnome-shell and have no software-updates notifications. Yum update shows packages to update but gnome-shell notification-bar never does.

Any ideas?

@rafaelluik: Thanks. I see that. But i think i have to leave it without manual checking for 7 days to see notification. Because by default in "org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.updates" frequency-updates-notification : 7 days (in seconds).

GNOME-Software checks and downloads updates in the background and only displays them as a notification and in the Updates tab after downloading them all.

Restart the system and leave it alone without manual checking for a day, then I'm confident you'll receive the notification. If you want to use yum update though it won't do any harm.
