I've been installing a lot of software, on my laptop today. But after last restart I got this prompt and no bootloader/grub. It says grub [ Minimal bash-like editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible completions of a device/filename. ]. I have no idea how to fix this issue, as I am unable to boot my computer.

Issue: grub is gone after restart, the computer boots into a prompt which calls itself mini bash-like ... grub>

What and how can I fix this, and restore grub?

I doubt the problem is due to installing software in the recommended Fedora way (see https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/7863/how-do-i-search-for-and-install-software-packages-in-fedora/ ). For an example of investigating your grub issue see http://tuxers.com/main/instigating-a-manual-boot-from-the-grub-prompt/
