I have these settings in /etc/systemd/logind.conf: HandleLidSwitch=ignore LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=yes And when I close the lid the computer keeps on working, as desired, probably screen off, but I can't really see it.

I don't use kde/gnome, plain xinit/fvwm. I suspend the computer via pm-utils, by calling pm-suspend from the shell. When I open the lid the computer comes out of suspend.

Is there a way of disabling this and having the computer resume from suspend after I hit the power button only?
