Hey there

I am running Fedora 21 with the latest updates. I upgraded from Fedora 19 to Fedora 21 at the release date. Everything went fine but I got a problem. When I start Feodra it will finish the boot animation and stops there. I wont get the Login Screen, I am just seeing the Fedora Logo. But when I boot into Recovery erverything is fine and here comes the weird thing: When I press reboot in Recovery Mode and boot then normal, I dont get that problem.

Here is the log when I directly boot to Fedora and it hangs on the Logo: http://pastebin.com/n3XzszAH

Edit 1: Forgot to list my hardware: Amd A10-5750M with a integraded Radeon HD 8950G and a Radeon HD 8970M. Running 3-18 Kernel, Open Source Radeon driver and Gnome 3

The error that I can see from the log is

Jan 31 14:06:26 GreatFoxII kernel: [drm:r600_dma_ring_test] *ERROR* radeon: ring 4 test failed (0xCAFEDEAD)
Jan 31 14:06:26 GreatFoxII kernel: [drm:si_resume] *ERROR* si startup failed on resume

Do you power off your system or hibernate (suspend to disk)?

@hedayat I dont know exactly what you mean. When my Laptop is shutdown, and I press power and choose in Grub Fedora (3-18, same with 3-17 before), I get the bootlogo animation and the animation will finish (I see the full fedora logo) and thats it. The login screen wont appear. But when I choose the Rescue Mode, the system will boot normaly. And here is the weird thing: When I am in rescure mode and press restart and then boot Feodra (3-18) it will boot normally without this "error". And when I am in Rescue Mode and choose shutdown and then power on, its the same.

OK, I got my answer. Your problem might be similar to this one: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=183090 Would you please wait for about 40secs to see if there are any changes?
