Wakeup problem after suspend

asked 2015-04-01 17:45:36 -0500

So, I have a suspend problem with my Fedora 21 Workstation. It is freshly installed on Dell Inspiron 15 7537.

When I open the lid (or press the power button to wake it up from suspend/sleep, the first 2-3 minutes the screen is black (as it was turned off), and after that it shows normally the lockscreen. Also, after the wake up, the fn-buttons for brightness and wifi on/off do not function, although I can change the brightness in the options or in the top-right menu in GNOME.

I tried installing the package kernel-modules-extra, but nothing has changed. Also, I tried with older kernel (3.17), no changes. Google didn't give me results, so I decided to ask you. One thing that I didn't test is the graphic card (Intel HD 4400), because I had no idea what should I try.

Thank you in advance.

Did you check the systemd journal for any indication of what might be going on during the problematic periods?

Sorry for the late response. After your mention, I checked it and here are the logs: http://pastebin.com/6crmHPJB The part before showing the lockscreen is there with timestamps. After that, first I installed gstreamer plugins, and they only hide the errors, nothing else. After that I modified the tracker-preferences options, but no luck, no improvement.
