I'm attempting to fix an issue that others seem to have had - on my Lenovo Yoga 2 13, the wireless connection drops out after a few minutes, then requires Wifi to be switched off/on to reconnect.

I'm using https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new and I attempt to run make in that directory, but this results in:

# make
make -C /lib/modules/3.19.8-100.fc20.x86_64/build M=/tmp/rtlwifi_new modules
make: *** /lib/modules/3.19.8-100.fc20.x86_64/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [all] Error 2

Here is some more information that I have seen put in other posts, that may be of use:

# lspci | grep Network
01:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8723BE PCIe Wireless Network Adapter

I'll happily supply any further information that may be required, but at this stage I'd love to get this fixed. I'm currently tethering through my phone.

It seems to me that you haven't installed the header so the drivers won't compile at some point so you should try this:

sudo yum install kernel-devel-$(uname -r)

or if you run F22 :

sudo dnf install kernel-devel-$(uname -r)

then you should be fine to use

make

then

make install

Hope it helped!

This has worked; I'll open a new question if I have further difficulties. It's hard to say, because the problem I'm attempting to solve is one where the wifi intermittently fails.
