Mouse hangs/slows down in Fedora 22

I used Fedora 20 and 21 before on that hardware and had no issues. After doing a fresh install of Fedora 22 with defaults (gnome desktop) my mouse is not moving with a constant speed anymore. If it is moved over buttons or scroll bars it sometimes slows down a bit or hangs slightly. I don't like that behavior because it makes it difficult to move the mouse arround.

Is there a way to get the mouse cursor moving again with a constant speed, independent of what it is moved over?

I think you were running into an issue with adaptive deceleration in libinput which applied for slow-speed movements. Try updating to the latest libinput version and see if that fixes the issue.
