What is the best way to install F16 on a mac? More specifically, an 2011 iMac?

EDIT: Not to run in a VM, but I could dual/tripleboot. I do not really care for MacOS, but it would be nice to run windows sometimes.

Installing from a live CD should work, although you will most probably encounter two bugs:

It is described in detailed steps what you need to do to fix these problems here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=272643

It looks like they have a guide to get triple booting going on Lifehacker. Obviously, instead of installing Ubuntu, just install Fedora when it tells you to start the Linux install.

This does not work on F16. Have you tried this? Please do not write incorrect answers.

Are you installing over top of OSX or dual booting alongside it? Or would a VM work better for you? It's really just what works best for your situation. I know several people that use VirtualBox to run Linux on top of OSX and are happy with it.
