How bad is to --skip-broken?

in alpha and beta and even sometimes on regular release i get to use --skip-broken a bunch of times, how bad is that...?

Not bad at all really. All this does is let the packages that are not broken install. Broken packages will be fixed by updates, and then yum will install them without issues.
