How to install fedora 18 on lenovo y580 with UEFI interface? I am not going to use windows at any point. I want to do a full erase of the hard disks. I have 32 GB SSD with 750gb hard drive. IS the default fedora 18 Beta Live CD disc do an UEFI install ?

The Fedora 18 Beta should boot and install on UEFI as long as Secure Boot is not enabled. Secure Boot support did not make the Beta, but it will be included before the final F18 release.

There's a firmware update to fix this from Toshiba. Unfortunately, you need to boot into BIOS mode, which requires disabling Secure Boot and enabling the CSM/BIOS in the firmware screens, in order to apply the update.
