I have recently started to use Fedora 22 on my laptop (alienware) and there is no wireless section in the top right corner. when i type

lscpi | grep -i network

output :

03:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 20)

after some googling i have found this page: but i dont know how to install something from it. so what do i need to do? thank you for your time

This is almost guaranteed to fail. But you can try

comment 244 and installing the deb with alien ( )

Honestly, alien is almost guaranteed to fail, I found this thread from arch linux

the arch linux community is pretty awesome. It is very close to fedora in the sense that they use pretty up to date packages. I think this should get fixed in a few months, and you should have an RPM package for it soon. But in the meanwhile, it seems like you are stuck on a wired connection....
