Problem in the latest KDE. Paired bluetooth mouse losing control over mouse cursor when device is idling for sometime or after device power cycle or after suspend2ram-resume cycle. Nothing is printed in /var/log/messages. KDE just ignores the mouse.

Current workaround:

  • I have to switch to any other tty and poke mouse in there.
  • It reconnects and gdm is able to use it.
  • I switch back to desktop - cursor starts moving.

Touchpad always works.

What do I do to prevent KDE ignoring my mouse when it awakes?

Thanks in advance everyone.

Shows /var/log/dmesg , or execute app via terminal to check the log. Better, use the ABRT!!!!
