Why my cdma modem detected as gsm modem?

When I plug-in my cdma modem there is one additional access point on my computer, but when I try to setup. My cdma modem detected as gsm modem, so I can't enter the username and my password.

How to fix it?

It depends on the modem. ModemManager (the mobile broadband service) doesn't have complete support for these devices yet. But some devices (mostly newer CDMA/LTE multi-mode devices for Verizon) report themselves as GSM since the command set that LTE uses is basically the GSM command set. But as was reported, best thing to do is file a bug so we can get more information.
