After the fedup network is done successfully

sudo fedup --network 22

Terminé !
Download complete! Use 'dnf system-upgrade reboot' to start the upgrade.

And reboot, I still didn't see the "System Upgrade" into my grub menu.

Into the wiki ( ), I found this :

Remark: If the System Upgrade item is not shown in the grublist at boot, it is most often caused by having an incompatible grub, most often installed by another Linux distribution you may have in your multiboot environment. To correct this quickly: reinstall grub: grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg grub2-install /dev/sda (replace /dev/sda by any other device you prefer to boot from)

I didn't install anything else on this workstation (except fedora).

Anyway, I try to execute it :

sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
Generating grub configuration file ...

The "System Upgrade" still not visible into grub menu.

Install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade package:

$ sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade

Download the updated packages:

$ sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=23

Change the --releasever= number if you want to upgrade to a different system release. Most people will want to upgrade to the latest stable release, which is 23, but if you're running Fedora 21, you might want to upgrade just to Fedora 22. You can also use 24 for upgrading to Branched or rawhide for upgrading to Rawhide (warning: those are not stable releases).

If some of your packages have unsatisfied dependencies, the upgrade will refuse to continue until you run it again with an extra --allowerasing option. This often happens with packages installed from third-party repositories for which an updated repositories hasn't been yet published. Please study very careful the output and examine which packages are going to be removed. None of them should be essential for system functionality, but some of them might be important for your productivity. In case of unsatisfied dependencies, you can sometimes see more details if you add --best option to the command line.

Trigger the upgrade process:

$ sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot

1/ First, as mentioned in the wiki page you provided :

FedUp is now obsolete and should not be used in any circumstances.

2/ Could you confirm you boot in bios mode (not efi) ?

grub2-install : erreur : /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/ n'existe pas.

3/ Installation with dnf-plugin-system-upgrade :

  • Update your system first.
  • Do a backup if you want.
  • Follow these recommended steps (from Fedora 21)
  • After installing, visit this page first for any bugs.
  • Check if the directory /var/cache/system-upgrade is empty (used by fedup).
