Hi, i try to install EagleCAD from CADSoft at my Fedora 20 distribution, but i cannot complete it. The feast step is to download the eagle-lin64-7.4.0.run file from the official website. then i run the command sudo ./eagle-lin64-7.4.0.run and i have the error:

Ensure the following libraries are available: libssl.so.1.0.0 => not found libcrypto.so.1.0.0 => not found /tmp/eagle-setup.2842/eagle-7.4.0/bin/eagle: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

so i looked at the folder /usr/lib and i found that i have installed the libssl.so.10 and the libcrypto.so.1.0.1e and i made a link to this libs with the following commands: sudo ln -s -T /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.1e /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 sudo ln -s -T libcrypto.so.1.0.1e libcrypto.so.1.0.0 but without success, i still cannot install the software. Could someone help me ?

No, only CADSoft can help you. sonames change because the usage of that library has changed; if it doesn't work after you have made the symlink to put the known version of the library into the application's expected location, it is most likely because the application does not support that version of the library. Check your symlink syntax and location - it might be looking for /usr/lib64 instead - and report any issues to the software vendor if they persist.

@randomuser Thank you for your respone, i added a symlink into usr/lib64 and now it works.
