I resized my Fedora partition and Gparted is showing I have 95gb free, but I tried copying my music and got the error message "Error splicing file: No space left on device". Pcmanfm is showing there's only 5gb left. I'm using the LXDE-Spin. The site doesn't let me upload images http://sta.sh/021n1ugubexs

open a terminal and do

df -h

to verify the size of your disk and how much free space you have, it is posible you resize partitions but not let the OS that size changed, if that is the case you could run resize2fs to solve the problem to learn how to use it type man resize2fs on the terminal or google how to use it. Hope it helps

Gparted change the partition size, not sure if it does what resize2fs does which is tell the OS the new size of your partition, so please read the manual resize2fs normally it is something like resize2fs /dev/sda8

The page says that if I'm using lvm i have to create it with the same starting disk cylinder as before. I don't know how to do it. I resized partitions many times before but never had this problem.
