I used a thumbdrive to do a fresh install of F17 and am having DNS (NetworkManager?) issues. Firefox and Midori are both unable to find (e.g.) techdirt.com , but both can find (e.g.) ask.fedoraproject.org

The liveUSB did not have this problem. All domains resolved fine while using that. I re-started, booting from the live USB again, and copied all the Network Settings to the HD installed F17, and no improvement.

Pretty much the only thing I've done since HD installing is a yum update. All domains ping just fine. Also: there are numerous other machines connecting through the same router and none have this problem.

NetworkManager use /etc/sysconfif/network-scripts/ifcfg-* for it's configuration. In this file, you will find DNS1= which contains your DNS configuration.
