I recently bought a XPS 13 9530 Skylake (Developer Edition). After some Bios settings, Fedora 23 is working out of the box. If i connect my Nexus 6p with the original USB Type C cable to the Type C connector of the XPS 13, it did not recognise the Nexus. The Phone only shows "slow charging". Has anybody a idea why it is not working?

Is the mtp installed for file transfer? Is the developer mode enabled (for adb)? Slow charging might be due to the low power output from USB port (as per USB specs, laptops don't usually supply as much as a charger does).

Yes, mtp is installed. If i connect the phone with the Type A to Type C cable to a USB 3.0 Type A socket, it works without problems. The dev mode is enabled, but i don't think its necessary.
