Fedora 23 - Freezes with nvidia and Wayland

I have installed Fedora 23 on a MSI GS60 6QE with Optimus and a GeForce GTX 970M, but get consistent hanging when starting up X11/Wayland with the nvidia drivers.

I created a custom xorg.conf and able to boot into Wayland with Intel acceleration. However, when I switch it to use the nvidia driver (latest released) and the system just hangs. I have tried Bumblebee before with a similar effect, hence the use of a custom xorg.conf to have better control. It has a Skylake processor, but I have installed the latest 0x74 microcode, so avoid all the C State hangs and freezes.

Looking at the Xorg.0.log and journalctl provides very little information on what causes the hangs. Is there something that I am missing ? Is there someway I can get information on cause of the hang ?

Nvidia drivers don't support wayland (don't be fooled by nvidia's bullshit claims)!
