High cpu usage when im surfing on the web

Yeah i have a problem with my cpu. When i surfing on the web however if your browser is chromium-based or firefox my cpu is 100% wvery time. Can anyone help me?.

Assuming you're use Gnome, you can start the System Monitor (gnome-system-monitor) to identify the process that eats your CPU resources.

There are also CLI programs that do the same, e.g. top, htop or powertop

What version of Fedora are you using?

  1. Disable All Extensions/Plugins/Themes
  2. Revert back to default setings by deleting .mozilla folder in $Home
  3. Try updating your kernel and run the web browser all alon (No-Multitasking)
  4. When Using Chromium , Use The Chromium Task Manager To Try To Find The Culprit
