VMware Player 4.0.3 on kernel 3.3.4

Has anybody managed to get this working? vmnet doesn't compile.

Hi,

Try the patch from here: http://weltall.heliohost.org/wordpress/2012/01/26/vmware-workstation-8-0-2-player-4-0-2-fix-for-linux-kernel-3-2-and-3-3/

You need to edit the "patch-modules.sh" file, to say "plreqver=4.0.3" where it now says 4.0.2.

before installing the patch

vmware-modconfig --console --install-all
