Have now tested the Live USB Fedora 17 x86_64 Desktop, downloaded today. This one is working OK. It has a new graphic layout.

Did a new dwonload of Live Fedora 17 x86_64 KDE. This one has still the same problem

I had the same problem, i was about to install fedora from usb. I used Pendrive software on windows and i got the same error like you. I managed to make bootable usb with Unetbootin and the error was gone.
