I keep getting an error message from Firefox that reads Server not found. I have tried everything, proxy settings, DNS etc. It worked fine in Fedora 10. I recently downloaded 16 and that is when the problem started. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi

are you able to load this website from an alternate computer or with fc10 on the computer ? This might be more of an issue with network ( settings), thanks with the browser.

Can you run "nslookup www.google.com" from the terminal and tell us what it says?

I get the same error with other browser in FC16. I am able to go to any website on other computers and was able to with FC8 and FC10. I had to travel on business so am away from the computer now. I will try nslookup when I get back and will let you know what it says. Thank you for the help
